I’m always on the search. A search for some new places, some new unusual people, new ways of getting same stuff done and new parts of me that want to step outside the comfort zone of my usual and step into something more challenging, so here’s the first post of my new project called ‘Chasers of the light’. Since the Summer is on the full run, my free time is unlimited and every chance I get I use to do something new and challenge myself to grow as a person and as an artist. Some of you who follow me on my FB page https://www.facebook.com/iamelysian/ know that at the end of June, I signed up for ”The 365 photography project” which requires one photo a day for a whole year (as you can figure out from the name of the project itself :D). Signing up for the project ment taking a leap into unknown and pushing myself to overcome some of the barriers I had. That also ment meeting new people and asking them if they’re in for a photo session or two. That’s how I met Bruna. Totally random, at Friday night, when I was out with my friend. We started talking and in a week we were having coffee, and few days after that went to Hartera, talked about everything and anything and made some amazing photos. Taking photos of Bruna was my first time I ever photographed someone I don’t know for at least few years, and capturing all those soft moments in melancholic light and warm air made me realize so much about myself, photography, people and life in general, so I’m gonna be thankful for that forever. Bruna is such a sweetheart, so pretty and lovable, and I can’t wait for us to make some new art together. 🙂 This really inspired me, so be ready for some soul confessions in later posts haha. Also, at the end of every month I’ll be posting some of the photos I took for my 365 project but didn’t publish there.
Thank you all for reading this and supporting me in my journey every step of the way. Your clicks, comments and likes mean so much that words can’t even describe it. Until my next post, chase the light, take a few steps back and try changing your perspective a bit. Stay inspired lovers, sea of love, S.
