How many times you wished you had some kind of protection for your camera and lens? Because I’ve thought about it a thousand times. While putting your camera down on some harder surface, you can hear a little cracking sound of your lens touching the ground, no matter how slowly you try to put it down. That also happens with camera body. My old Canon 1100D was full of scratches at the bottom from countless times of use without any proper protection. Even the old lens had trouble with focusing at the end of its era. I prevented the damage on my Canon 60D with genius camera accessories under the brand Easy Cover. My equipment arrived last weekend and I was so excited to ”camo” my Canon and rearrange the camera bag. I got a black rubber case for my Canon 60D and lens rims for Sigma 18-50mm lens in camo and red. After first using the camera with the equipment I realized that there’s absolutely no reason to ever take any of it off! The rubber grip on the camera makes is really easy to hold, every button is normally accessable and it keeps the body protected. Lens rims are my favorite part because one goes on the zoom ring and other one on the filter thread so every time you put your camera down, it lands on the rubber edges of the rims.
Besides camera case and lens rims in different color, I got two lens cases, one for my 18-55 mm and another for 70-300 mm lens. What I love most about these is the fact that the material is thick and a bit spongy so it keeps the lens well protected, and you can hang them on your camera bag and take out the lens without losing 5 minutes searching for it inside of the camera bag. And it’s also in camo! I love it!
